Clipper Teas Fairtrade Campaign Launches to Promote Ethical Tea Choices

Clipper Teas has introduced a £1.5m campaign to encourage consumers to choose a more ethical cup of tea. The Clipper Teas Fairtrade Campaign aims to highlight the benefits of Fairtrade and organic tea while promoting sustainable choices.

Multichannel Marketing Strategy

The campaign will run across TV, video on demand, PR, social media, and out-of-home advertising until 23 February. A dancing bird and a catchy song will bring the message to life, emphasizing the importance of Fairtrade tea. The tagline, “There’s Tea, Then There’s GOOD Tea,” reinforces the idea of making conscious tea choices.

Clipper Teas Fairtrade Campaign Reaches Millions

The campaign’s TV commercial is expected to reach 12.4 million viewers, surpassing the impact of last year’s promotion. Clipper Teas continues to strengthen its position as a leader in ethical tea production and consumer engagement.

Driving Awareness for Ethical Sourcing

Hannah Southwick, senior brand manager at Ecotone UK for Clipper Teas, stated, “We want to show consumers that they don’t have to sacrifice taste to enjoy ethical tea. Rather than telling or forcing, our campaign evokes joy and inspiration. We aim to make people question their tea choices since not all tea is always fair or natural. Reconnecting with nature helps consumers see its benefits and take action to protect it.”

Leadership Changes and Future Growth

This campaign follows the promotion of Bryan Martins to UK CEO of Ecotone, Clipper’s parent company. He succeeds Emma Vass, who recently joined dessert company Gü. Martins shared, “2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year, especially for Clipper Teas, the fastest-growing everyday tea brand.”
