HelloFresh is now adding more premium ingredients to its core menu. The company aims to improve meal variety with additional fruits and vegetables. Customers can enjoy HelloFresh premium ingredients like salmon at no extra cost. Each meal will now feature at least two fruits or vegetables, including unique options like samphire, pomegranates, and figs.

The recipe box provider introduced these changes after discovering that 40% of parents worry about the lack of variety in their children’s diets. Rising food costs make it challenging for families to try new foods. As a result, 24% of families eat less meat, 23% consume less fresh food, and 20% reduce their fish intake.

New Features for Better Mealtime Experiences

HelloFresh is also launching improved meal boxes with recyclable cool boxes and limited-edition ‘Eat-N-Seek’ posters. These posters create an interactive way for families to explore new foods together.

“Mealtimes can often be stressful for parents and children,” said HelloFresh senior director of product Alix McCaffery. “We know that trying new foods helps fussy eaters develop a more varied diet. Our expanded ingredient selection aims to make HelloFresh premium ingredients accessible to all customers.”

McCaffery added that these improved boxes aim to reduce stress and bring back the joy of cooking. By offering premium products and diverse foods, HelloFresh hopes to support families in maintaining nutritious and enjoyable mealtimes.
