Save Mart Unveils Store Refresh in Northern California
On September 12, The Save Mart Companies unveiled a refreshed Save Mart banner store in Riverbank, Northern California, located at 2237 Claribel Road. This newly updated location has been customized to reflect the local community’s tastes and shopping needs.
The store now features thousands of new items, an expanded selection of organic produce, and over 600 new options in wine, spirits, and beer. Additionally, a cheese monger has been added, along with a new floral department staffed by a dedicated florist. The store also now employs a wine steward to help customers navigate the beverage selections.
“We are very excited to level up the shopping experience with the best fresh food and easy meal solutions, all at the same low prices our guests expect and deserve,” said Kelly Bizzini, store director at Save Mart Riverbank. “We want to make grocery shopping exciting again and look forward to helping our customers explore new tastes and offerings.”
The store also boasts a new curbside pick-up area with dedicated parking stalls for added convenience.
To celebrate the reopening, Save Mart made a $5,000 community investment, donating to local organizations such as Central Valley Community Resources, Christian Family Food Sharing, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire District, and Riverbank High School.
This store refresh comes after Save Mart’s acquisition by the Jim Pattison Group, based in Vancouver, Canada, which also operates Save-On-Foods and Buy-Low Foods. Save Mart, headquartered in Modesto, California, operates 194 stores and continues to focus on long-term growth and providing customers with the freshest products at great value. Save Mart is ranked No. 53 on Progressive Grocer’s 2024 list of top food and consumables retailers in North America.
