Icy Waters LLC won Best New Retail Product for its Atlantic Salmon with Guinness Sweet Honey Mustard Melt & Panko Crumb. American Unagi Inc. claimed Best New Foodservice Product for its Gluten Free Eel Kabayaki Fillet.
Judging Process and Criteria
Judges selected winners from 11 finalists during a live judging session. Industry experts evaluated the products based on uniqueness, taste profile, market potential, convenience, and nutritional value. This thorough process ensured the most deserving products earned recognition.
Entries and Showcase Details
Out of 68 entries, 11 finalists were featured in the New Product Showcase. This exhibit displayed innovative seafood dishes, condiments, and related products released in the past 18 months. Attendees explored these exceptional items in the Wave Makers’ Zone throughout the expo.

The Seafood Excellence Awards program connects with global seafood competitions. It extends to the Seafood Excellence Global Awards in Barcelona and the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards in Singapore. Diversified, a Portland, Maine-based producer, manages these renowned events.
