The Gym Kitchen has made a bold move with the launch of its first Christmas advert, aiming to challenge the dominance of the UK’s top brands in the festive advertising space.

The 90-second ad, titled Feel the Festive Magic with Food, is set to go live this week across all The Gym Kitchen’s channels. It presents a heartwarming tale of Santa facing a last-minute Christmas Eve shopping crisis. As mishaps pile up, Santa’s festive spirit seems to fade—until a stranger appears with one of The Gym Kitchen’s Christmas sandwiches. With each bite, Santa regains his holiday cheer, highlighting the joy of wholesome, nutritious food during busy moments.

Founder Segun Akinwoleola shared his thoughts on the campaign:
“Our Christmas creative reflects The Gym Kitchen’s core values of nutritious, wholesome, and great-tasting food that supports and energizes during life’s busy moments—even the festive rush. The story mirrors our message that good food isn’t just fuel; it brings joy, positivity, and magic back to everyday life.

“This ad is also a move to bring challenger brands like The Gym Kitchen into the festive ad arena. Christmas campaigns have always been a battle of the best, and after an incredible year of growth, we wanted to throw ourselves into the mix with the big players and share the love at Christmas.”

The campaign follows The Gym Kitchen’s expansion earlier this year, which saw the launch of high-protein food-to-go products in Tesco and the introduction of frozen meal lines across Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.
