New Store & Design
Whole Foods Market is set to open two new stores in October.
The openings of two new Whole Foods Market stores on opposite sides of the U.S.—one at 42,560 square feet and the other at 50,338 square feet—are fast approaching, with both locations set to replace existing stores in the area.
Whole Foods in Hyannis
The new Hyannis store, larger than its predecessor, draws inspiration from Cape Cod’s coastal charm, incorporating elements of wind and water into its design, featuring neutral and deep earth tones. The product selection will highlight over 370 items sourced from New England, facilitated by Holly Long, a Whole Foods forager focused on local and emerging brands.
On the grand opening morning, customers can enjoy samples of coffee from Jim’s Organic Coffee and pastries from Pain D’Avignon Bakery. The first 300 visitors will receive a limited-edition tote bag and a coupon offering discounts of up to $100.
Additionally, Whole Foods Market will donate a Nourishing Our Neighborhoods van to Family Table Collaborative. This initiative, part of the Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program launched in 2020, aims to boost the efficiency of food rescue organizations in transporting surplus food to areas in need.
The store will provide grocery delivery and pickup options for residents and will include an Amazon returns counter and kiosk.
Whole Foods in Phoenix
The Phoenix location features decor that reflects the beauty of Arizona, including desert landscapes. The expanded footprint allows for additional parking, as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas, and a product assortment showcasing more than 330 items sourced from Arizona, with assistance from Lisa Tosun, a Whole Foods forager.
On the opening day, customers can sample coffee from ROC2 and snacks from Laura’s Gourmet and Midi Bites. The first 300 customers will also receive a coupon offering discounts of up to $100. As part of the Nourishing Our Neighborhoods Program, a food donation will be made to the Paradise Valley Community Food Bank.
