Rosauers Acquires Hank’s Harvest Foods in Washington State
Rosauers Supermarkets has successfully acquired Hank’s Harvest Foods in Twisp, Washington, increasing its total number of grocery stores to 24.
Hank and Judy Konrad purchased Hank’s in 1975, later establishing the current, larger location. For nearly 50 years, Hank’s Harvest Foods has been a cornerstone of the Methow Valley community, known for its quality, selection, excellent service, and strong commitment to both customers and employees.
In 2015, Hank’s Harvest Foods received the Community Service award from the Washington Food Industry Association. During the 2014 Carlton Complex Fire, the store remained open to provide essential supplies to the community and firefighters, even acting as an information hub. After an evacuation order, Hank Konrad distributed money to help residents at his adjacent service station flee the fires.
“Rosauers is excited to welcome Hank’s into the Rosauers family,” said Cliff Rigsbee, CEO of Rosauers. “We are honored to have the opportunity to serve the Methow Valley. Hank and Judy are community heroes and have entrusted us to continue their legacy of service and support.”
Rosauers Supermarkets, headquartered in Spokane, Washington, operates 24 stores across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana under the banners Super1Foods and Huckleberry’s Natural Market. The chain employs approximately 2,100 people and is owned by Spokane-based URM Stores Inc.
