Acme Smoked Fish Corp. has acquired Banner Smoked Fish, bringing together two family-owned businesses with a long history of collaboration and competition. Both companies, based in Brooklyn, New York, have been key players in the smoked fish market, and this merger will enable them to expand their reach while maintaining a commitment to producing high-quality smoked fish products.

- Family Legacy: Acme’s managing partner, Adam Caslow, a fourth-generation leader, expressed enthusiasm about combining forces with the Attias family, founders of Banner. This merger aligns with both companies’ shared commitment to quality.
- Operations and Transition: Avi Attias, founder of Banner, and his son Eli will join Acme, and Banner’s operations will be relocated from Coney Island to Acme’s Greenpoint facility.
- Product Range: The combined brands will continue to offer a wide variety of smoked and cured fish products, including salmon, whitefish, sable, tuna, herring, trout, and smoked fish salads. Additionally, Acme will now offer kosher smoked fish products certified by the Central Rabbinical Congress (CRC), expanding its portfolio.
