Bread innovations captured the center stage at the recent International Dairy Deli Bakery Association convention in June. Highlighting grain innovations in the spotlight, Bimbo Bakehouse introduced the Cheesecake Factory at Home® Our Famous “Brown Bread” Bakery Buns, offering a delicious taste and hearty texture. These Brown Bread Bakery Buns are set to inspire creativity both at the grill and in the kitchen.

In addition, Goldminer® Bakery showcased their new Sourdough Pretzel Rolls, delivering a unique, slow-crafted flavor. Consumers can now enjoy the best of both worlds with this savory roll that combines the classic pretzel taste with a delicate sourdough tang.

“Coming from the category leader in instore bakery, we have tons of insights understanding our consumers. We understand that they are looking for more than food and products. They are looking for experiences,” said Brandi Unchester, marketing director, ISB at Bimbo Bakehouse .

Consumers love eating at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants. But when they are not able to get to The Cheesecake Factory, they can have that “fantastical food experience at home with our Brown Bread Bakery Bun,” she added. “It’s a versatile product you can have with hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, casual get-togethers, barbecue with friends, or you can have it for a delightful dinner at home.”

This is one example of bringing that restaurant experience to home with a quick easy meal solution just from a few things you pick up when you run into the store, Unchester said.

In addition, Bimbo Bakehouse introduces Goldminer Sourdough Pretzel Rolls.

“We know that sourdough is on fire, A lot of consumers discovered sourdough during Covid and tried to make sourdough bread at home. Now they can have that slow-crafted process, that 24-hour starter, made the authentic way that they want, without taking the time to do it themselves,” Unchester said. “They can give their family a meal that they feel good about – that crafted quality product.
