Harris Teeter, a subsidiary of Kroger, has partnered with FTD, a renowned flower delivery service, to bring a convenient 24/7 floral delivery service to its shoppers. This new service allows Harris Teeter customers to order not only floral arrangements but also balloons and gifts, all available for delivery through a collaboration with DoorDash.

With the introduction of the 24/7 floral delivery service, Harris Teeter shoppers can now send thoughtful gifts and messages to loved ones at any time of the day. Orders placed before 10 a.m. are eligible for same-day delivery, offering added convenience for last-minute gift-givers.

Harris Teeter’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Danna Robinson, expressed excitement about the new offering, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing customers with a simple way to send “love, appreciation, and well wishes” to family and friends. This service enhances the overall shopping experience, making it easier for customers to connect with others, whether it’s for celebrations, special occasions, or just because.

In December 2022, Kroger, Harris Teeter’s parent company, introduced on-demand floral and sushi delivery after testing the program in select regions. Just like Harris Teeter, Kroger also utilizes DoorDash for floral delivery, sourcing products from a network of over 1,600 floral locations. This move aligns with both retailers’ strategies to expand on-demand delivery services, ensuring customers can enjoy the convenience of home delivery for a variety of products, anytime they need it.
