Instacart Launches New Collaboration with Sally Beauty for Same-Day Delivery
Instacart has announced an exciting new collaboration with Sally Beauty** Supply**, expanding their partnership to offer same-day delivery of hair, skin, and nail care products across all 2,200-plus Sally Beauty locations. This nationwide rollout follows a successful limited test earlier this year and marks Instacart’s second non-grocery collaboration in recent weeks, after the launch of same-day delivery with Home Depot stores nationwide.
“We’re thrilled to continue broadening our offerings beyond grocery by partnering with Sally Beauty to deliver an extensive range of beauty products,” said Blake Wallace, senior director of retail partnerships at Instacart. Customers will now have access to up to 7,000 beauty products from top brands like Wella, Clairol, OPI, L’Oreal, and more through the Instacart platform.
This move adds another layer to the growing competition between **Instacart and **DoorDash, with both companies ramping up their beauty-sector offerings. Earlier this year, DoorDash announced its own partnerships with Sally Beauty, MAC Cosmetics, and an expanded relationship with Sephora. Instacart, which already has a delivery partnership with Sephora, also launched an exclusive delivery relationship with Kiehl’s last year.
As Sally Beauty expands its reach through platforms like Instacart and **Walmart’s **online marketplace, it aims to drive top-line sales despite the challenges posed by consumer frugality, which impacted its fiscal second-quarter sales.
