As detailed in Morrisons Kicks Off Christmas Recruitment, Hiring 3,000 New Colleagues, the supermarket is looking to fill roles across its stores, food manufacturing sites, and logistics operations nationwide. Positions include customer assistants, home delivery drivers, and warehouse operatives, with flexible working patterns and no prior experience required for most roles.

New employees will receive a 15% staff discount card and an additional 10% discount card for a friend or family member. Many temporary workers have previously transitioned into permanent positions with the supermarket.

Clare Grainger, Morrisons group people director, said: “As we gear up for the festive rush, we’re excited to bring on board up to 3,000 new colleagues. They will play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ celebrations are special, and there are plenty of opportunities across the UK for both temporary and permanent roles in our stores, manufacturing, and logistics sites.”

This recruitment effort comes as other major UK supermarkets also prepare for the festive season, with Sainsbury’s hiring 20,000 seasonal workers and M&S planning to bring on 11,000 new employees, anticipating increased demand over the holidays.
