Philadelphia Introduces Cream Cheese Frosting.
Kraft Heinz’s cream cheese brand Philadelphia is expanding into the baking category with the introduction of Philadelphia Frosting.
This new offering is crafted from fresh milk and cream, and Philadelphia claims it is the “first refrigerated cream cheese frosting from a mainstream brand in the US.”
The culinary team at Philadelphia dedicated a year and a half to perfecting the recipe, which aims to replicate the taste of homemade frosting. Philadelphia Introduces Cream Cheese Frosting, blending the brand’s signature creaminess with a sweet and tangy flavor profile. It can be used on a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, or even fresh fruit.
Becca Dunphey, president of Taste, Meals, and Snacking at The Kraft Heinz Company, noted, “Bringing the creamy deliciousness of Philadelphia to the frosting category just makes sense and it’s a great example of how we’re giving our fans new ways they can enjoy Philly in the kitchen. Philadelphia Frosting will be available in 16oz tubs for $4.99 at select retailers across the US, ensuring that Philadelphia Introduces Cream Cheese Frosting is accessible for all baking enthusiasts.
