ShopRite Pharmacy, the pharmaceutical division of ShopRite, is enhancing its services by integrating the Grocery TV retail media network into its stores. This innovative initiative allows ShopRite locations to utilize the in-store retail media network to effectively promote prescription savings programs and provide customers with information about pharmacy services and other health-related offerings.

Don Oelke, COO and co-founder of Grocery TV, highlighted the importance of this move, stating, “For both retailers and brand advertisers, pharmacy represents a valuable touchpoint with customers, especially for health care, pharma, and fitness-focused products or services.” He noted that many supermarkets within the Grocery TV network feature pharmacies, making it a logical progression to offer an in-store retail media experience tailored to that segment.

The content strategy for Grocery TV in pharmacy focuses on health- and wellness-oriented video channels, retailer messaging, and brand advertising aimed at engaging and informing shoppers. This strategic expansion is set to enhance the customer experience while providing valuable information about health and wellness initiatives.
