Sprouts Farmers Market Continues Expanding with New Store Openings
Sprouts Farmers Market is expanding its footprint with the opening of a new store in Middletown, Del., marking its second location in the state. To celebrate the opening, the store will host a “pop-up party” from Dec. 6 to Dec. 8, offering guests the chance to enjoy seasonal produce at the tasting bar and participate in fun activities like the “guess the weight” contest with an oversized piece of produce. In addition to these activities, there will be other engaging events for shoppers to enjoy throughout the weekend.
During the grand opening weekend, customers can receive a 20% discount on their purchases by scanning their app account barcode at checkout. They will also have the opportunity to enter to win a $500 Sprouts gift card, with the contest open until midnight on Dec. 8.
In Colorado, Sprouts Farmers Market is relocating its Littleton location from 8601 W. Cross Drive to 8555 W. Belleview Ave.. This move will be accompanied by a similar grand opening celebration, including a pop-up party and the popular guess-the-weight contest. Additionally, the first 100 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free “Goodness it’s Free” reusable goodie bag filled with products. On Friday, the first 400 guests will receive a free long-stem rose, courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
Much like the Delaware location, shoppers in Colorado will also be able to text to receive 20% off their purchases during the grand opening weekend and enter for a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Earlier this week, Sprouts also opened its first store in Wyoming. This expansion is part of a broader growth strategy. In its third-quarter report, Sprouts Farmers Market, based in Phoenix, announced that it opened nine stores and saw a 14% year-over-year increase in net sales, totaling $1.9 billion. The company aims to open 35 new locations by the end of the year, and currently operates more than 400 stores across 23 states.
