Heritage Grocers Group Revamps Digital Experience

Heritage Grocers Group, the operator of several Hispanic specialty grocery stores under multiple banners, announced on Tuesday significant updates to the website and loyalty program for its Tony’s Fresh Market brand. The California-based company, which manages 21 Tony’s Fresh Market locations in Chicago, as well as Cardenas Market, El Rancho Supermercado, and Los Altos Ranch Market stores, aims to provide a more personalized and user-friendly experience for its customers.

Responding to Customer Feedback

“Our redesign was driven by overwhelming customer feedback and a demand for a more advanced digital experience,” said Adam Salgado, Chief Marketing Officer of Heritage Grocers Group. He emphasized that the new platform aims to offer a cohesive and reliable online shopping and savings experience that caters to the evolving preferences of Tony’s Fresh Market customers.

Key Website Enhancements

The updated website now features:

  • Improved Navigation: A more intuitive layout for easier browsing.
  • Enhanced Interface: A modern look that enhances user engagement.
  • Additional Features: Recipes, online shopping, weekly ads, and career opportunities.
  • Simplified Sign-Up: Easier process for joining the store’s exclusive email list to receive weekly circulars, coupons, special offers, sweepstakes, and community event information.

Upgraded Tony’s Rewards Program

The revamped “Tony’s Rewards” loyalty program replaces the previous system with a new platform already utilized at Heritage’s Cardenas Markets and El Rancho Supermercado stores. The program allows customers to:

  • Clip Digital Coupons: Easily access and apply discounts.
  • Earn and Redeem Points: One point for each dollar spent, which can be redeemed for future savings.
  • Access Exclusive Offers: Weekly deals, digital discounts, and seasonal promotions.
