Walgreens launches healthy private-label line
Walgreens has introduced a new private-label brand featuring over 150 healthy food and beverage products, as announced on Tuesday.
This new line, Nice! For You, expands on Walgreens’ original Nice! brand, which debuted in 2011.
Nice! For You includes a variety of items such as jerky, oatmeal, nuts and trail mixes, dried fruit, coffee, frozen food products, beverages, white cheddar cheese, dried cranberries, roasted pistachios, tart cherry juice, and apple juice boxes, among others.
In a press release, Walgreens highlighted that Nice! For You products are free from artificial flavors and sweeteners, synthetic dyes, and high-fructose corn syrup.
“Recent research from Statista shows that nearly half of all Americans are aiming to make better food choices,” said Walgreens Chief Customer Officer Tracey Brown in the press release. “The evolution of our Nice! brand is intended to provide an efficient, highly relevant customer experience that meets their changing needs and preferences, while continuing our commitment to offer high-quality products that taste great at an incredible value.”
